Winter Mist : Inverted Refrain

Fragile, smokey, winter mist,
scattering on to pine trees,
winter grains through summer sift,
on hills, valleys below spreading freeze:
                      Spreading freeze as summer sift,
                       winter mist on  pine trees.

From clouds it descends down,
gluing to every pine needle,
surroundings wear a white gown,
the chill sounds a bit feeble:
                             White gown descends down,
                              softly on to pine needles.

Summer colours fade away,
into rivulets they wash afar,
now, a grey slate lay,
sprinkling icy crystal stars:
                                Rivulets take colours away,
from the sky fall as stars.

A misty cap covers the forest,
milky way over the paths,
a beautiful heavenly adornment,
different ways it charts:
Milky way on paths and forest,
                          decorates the divine art.

Defining Death

Death is..........

the silent song of peace,
an amazing word,
merging different worlds.
The ultimate stroke of a painter's brush,
splashing canvas with the final touch.
The lost part of a puzzle ,
when found completes life.
A wish,
even if not wished,
granted.
A soulful embrace,
relieving all the pains.

Engulf me in thy arms,
I'll absorb all your warmth.

Winter : Balassi Stanza

Ivory paradise
charmingly entices.
Powdery crystalline dew,
spread all over on earth,
sips old life for new birth,
replacing those who once grew.
Achromatic painting,
by nature, for changing.
Life celebrates and renews.

Colourful bliss,
nature’s kiss, of
love is this to,
smear hues on,
our hearts when its all gone.

autumn dreams to far ebb.

When You Say Nothing

When you say nothing,
I can still hear your whispers,
riding on the winds,
your heart beats, your thoughts,
connect to me,
like they have been for the past many lives.

Your love - a shadow of moon,
The deep tremors resonating within you,
I feel in here.
This mist around,
allow me to vaporize,
transforming to glowing fireflies,
lighting the surroundings, clearing the darkness.

An angel of god you are,
I have come too far,
there’s no turning back for me,
for my soul is bound to thee.

A castle you have made around yourself,
to be away from this world,
but at its door, you ‘ll find me waiting.

If you want to be the ship,
roaming the vast blue ocean,
let me be the wind flowing along.

I can wait for a thousand years to be with you,
and hear your voice calling out my name.

The Sea

Sun light fades in to you,
glowing waves with different hues.

You can kiss the lucid moon,
when your waves dance and swoon.

On mariners you cast a spell,
song of the sea in their hearts dwell.

You embrace a world of mystery inside,
mermaids, sirens, treasures, pearls in you hide.

Winds bring your messages to land,
like an enchanted magical wand.

Stars In The Ocean: Burns Stanza

Aquamarine transparent sea floor,
besprent with tiny shiny spores,
a marvel of nature to explore.
Blue silk waves black sky,
from the heaven pour.
Dance in rhythm, soar high.

Stars float all over,
another domain to flyover,
singing songs to a loner.
Bright glittery nano drops,
warm the ocean all so colder,
lovingly two different worlds hop.

The Burns stanza : Named after the Scottish poet Robert Burns. Also called the Scottish stanza or six-line stave. Prior to Burns’s use, it was known as the standard Habbie, after Habbie Simpson. Rhyme scheme: aaabab.

Falling Angels: Sonnetina Rispetto

Shooting stars from heaven above,
falling down losing faith and love,
banished for reasons unknown.
Skies roar, clouds cry their hearts out,
nothing fertile can they sprout.
Scattered angels roam alone,
shooting stars from heaven above,
falling down losing faith and love.

Moist earth silently stares,
can’t hold them forever here.
Banished for reasons unknown,
scattered angels roam alone.
Shooting stars from heaven above,
falling down losing faith and love.

I Don’t Belong To Anywhere Or To Anyone: Blues Stanza

I am a lonely leaf,
stuck here all alone, a lonely leaf,
soaked in pain and grief.

I carry a varicose heart,
crying and sad heart,
every word a piercing dart.

The wind brushes by,
caresses me and glides by,
it’s soothing touch,  a lie.

The world cares for blooms,
happiness it gets from blooms,
a sole leaf in this world has no room.

I don’t belong to anywhere,
no place to go anywhere,
my destiny is tied up here.

I am a lonely leaf,
stuck here all alone, a lonely leaf,
soaked in pain and grief.

The Blues stanza is poetry derived in the late 9th century from the Afro-American lamentation and sadness. The Rhyme scheme : A. A. a. . B. B. b. . C. C. c. etc.

The Lonely Autumn

I give shades of happiness and love to all,
but my emotions wilt like leaves and fall.
The truth of life is hard to define,
to my fate I resign.

I fill hearts with hopes of new beginnings,
and get crumpled beneath feet as forgotten wishes.
Stark realities mark this world,
for it, pain and hurt are just words.

I am the source of lavish splendor,
deep within I am fragile and tender.
No one knows of my agony,
alone I face this harsh reality.

Abundant harvest, fruits I offer,
still nothing ever in my fate alters.
I see them slip moment by moment,
and pray humbly for my atonement.

Summer Sunshine

All the cozy- tender things,
from the summer field I gather,
some sparkling rays, petals of spring,
and a few down feathers.

I weave them into a soft shawl,
gently adorning emotions pure,
it’ll warm your winter whole,
with hopeful promises to assure.

Securely tuck it in your heart,
love and affection will fill inside,
warmness exudes its every part,
soft prayers within strands hide.

Sweet Desert Rose: Tritina

Wild, dry, lonesome, yet sweet,
a wandering child is the desert,
harsh or favonian winds, it smiles like a rose.

Crystalline sand petals remind of the true rose,
each particle immersed in memories salty and sweet,
beauty spirals through this rose in the wilderness of desert.

Along with the sun rejoices the desert,
for its companion is the rose,
into the world, wind blows this story so sweet.

Truth full companion to desert is the sweet desert rose.

Tritina : It comprises of three stanzas using the same three words in a Sestina like pattern, and a final line which uses the three words in the starting sequence:
A.. B.. C...
C.. A.. B...
B.. C.. A...
A,B,C...
