Sweet Death : Tanka

Black fine robe she wears, gives solace to my spirit, her magic – charming, a soul catcher from afar, walks along with the shadow. Her peaceful aura, expands beyond time and space, waiting patiently, to finish our agonies, and fly to a new empire. I call upon thee, custodian of god’s gates, hold me in your arms, sing me a sweet lullaby, and I will sleep in your embrace.   Tanka :  Japanese poetry having  five unrhymed lines  of 5, 7, 5, 7, 7 syllables
