Shades of Love: Haiku

Unrequited

Tilted emotions
of a contemplating heart
an unending wait

Reciprocated

Heart with soul merges
flowery spring forever
happiness abound

Abandoned

Left in sorrow, pain
broken, withered, bleeding hearts
lost, abandoned souls

Japanese poetry form: 5/7/5 syllables per line.

Oh my gosh Vandana... that last part about being abandoned was sad... very well written

This feels like seasons of the year.. does love always follow such cycles?

Follows logical process most appropriately Vandana! Love is held back not really sure, got entangled and happiness abound but faced testing times later with some tears! Great lines!

This work weeps pathos and tragedy. Just brilliant.

The illustration seems perfectly chosen for these verses.

You capture the shadows and the bright light of love.

I love the contrasts in your haiku, the different meanings behind the same word.

I really enjoy the idea of love in different colors, which in turn are called something else. Love can be so mysterious...

Each one tells its own story, but put together like this, they tell a complete story. Brilliantly woven.
