Silence

Underneath
percolating rain drops in sand

beneath
dew drops rolling down the leaf blades

among
playful waves of roaring oceans

there’s
 deep silence

only heard
by a
heart
calm within

I think we need to take some time to be silent with ourselves... this is such a lively poem Vandana ♡♡♡

This is beautifully structured: all the activity inherent in nature, and then ... silence and calm.

Yes indeed it is that deep silence and peace we all yearn for, even when we don't recognise it... Thanks for sharing such an excellent write Vandana

I really like the shape of this poem and the way the sounds crescendo and diminish.
