Underneath percolating rain drops in sand beneath  dew drops rolling down the leaf blades among playful waves of roaring oceans there’s  deep silence only heard by a heart calm within

As she

saw his hand

slipping away

from her hand

                          she died

                          thousand deaths

                          in that

                          one instance

His face

faded away

like butterfly’s wings

                                      she knew

                                      from

                                      that moment

                                      days were over

                                      of spring

Life went on

at its own pace

leaving

scars of pain

in the voices

of space

                 and

                           she died

                           thousand deaths

                           at

                           every instance
