Colourful bliss,
nature’s kiss, of
love is this to,
smear hues on,
our hearts when its all gone.
Dreams of autumn,
now forgotten, as
soft cotton fibers,
woven spider web,
autumn dreams to far ebb.
Ya Du (Burmese Poetry Form) : 4 syllable lines and a fifth of 5, 7, 9,or
11 syllables. The staircase rule applies to the four lines, and the last
syllable of the fourth and fifth line must rhyme. There should be reference to the seasons since the word yadu means
"the seasons”.

The form is greatly interesting Vandana and you've woven magic into it...colors fading in hearts truly resonate with autumn's dream coming to an end...
Ah, it seems dreams of autumn are now fading to winter. The ebb and flow of the seasons.
You write a pretty picture! Lovely poem.
Amazing how you can convey a message in a few words.
Lovely poem. I know nothing of forms I just write.
Thanks for coming by to visit our winter preparedness. It has warmed today to 37F but the cold will return tonight.
Yes, autumn has become a dream-gone-by...colors definitely grays and browns now and it's hard to remember the colors.
quite beautiful and I love the colour mixing with the emotion. This is very nicely crafted.
How fast time goes by. Seems impossible that dreams of autumn are already fading into winter!
dreamlike in form and content, very lovely
much love...
I like how I always learn about a new form when I read your poems, Vandana. It seems that the dreams of autumn are behind us while winter is round the corner.

Another great form and lovely dream catcher poem.
I do so love the way that you take on new poetic forms - very edifying. A lovely metaphor in this.

Vandana,
A magical picture, as the colours and the touch of autumn fades away. I am quite sorry to see it leave..
