Rain

Ringing through bluish nebula,
A string of watery pearls rolls down as,
Indra’s jet black curls,
Nature’s dance from heaven to earth.

Indra: The Hindu God of rain.

I really like this acrostic, the string of water pearls, and the allusion to the Hindu god of rain.

Thanks so much for joining us here at dVerse (http://dversepoets.com) and posting for Tuesday's Poetics prompt -- to use rain, reign, and/or rain within the body of a poem. I LOVE how you've done an acrostic here and the word is within the body of the poem as a "hidden message" if you will...within the first letter of each line. The poem itself is quite beautiful.
We hope you'll join us often at dVerse....might you add a tagline dVerse or make mention at the end of the poem that you're responding to dVerse and link your poem to dVerse? That way more folks can find us --- enjoy writing to the prompts and reading other reponses. So fun to see the variation on one word! And, it will also draw more readers to your site, as well as more responses. We're a friendly bunch, from all over the world. And there are prompts on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Check back later today for a new prompt! :) Again, so very glad you posted with us!

An image to coat ourselves in... while dancing and smiling at the sky. Just precious.
