Behind the yew tree,
hides a blue moon.
Its enthralling beauty ,
a silhouette of deity.
Blackness of space,
glows in faint light.
Simmering and flickering,
like zillion candles.
Silence of wild,
spread far wide.
But murmurous pond,
reflects the song of moon.
The song so spirituous,
intoxicates souls .
Inebriated lovers ,
make abiding promises.
Their eternal
witnesses,
a blue moon and the yew tree.

Its magical what those words invoke -- your poem has such a magisterial tone to it, a loud note of awe. Good work!
i rather like the next to last stanza...the silence of the wild/pond/souls....the moon will make you do some crazy things as well...smiles.
hope those inebriated promises will be remembered when the sun comes up!
"silence of wild"
yes, this!
I am sure the blue moon and the yew tree will not betray the secrets that they heard. Smiles!
Love the blue moon and the yew tree as witnesses.
The moon can sure make on swoon
'But murmurous pond, reflects the song of moon.'....Beauty speaks in her own voice here...
Yes, that moon has special powers on lovers. Beautiful, moody poem.
You always weave such magic through your verses
I love "a silhouette of deity"...and the "eternal witnesses" of tree and moon.
Nice. Magical environment sparked by illumination of the sounds of a moon lit night.
