Far above a beautiful spectrum,
glittering bridge from heaven to earth,
fills with musical notes to hum,
a view of love's worth.
Glittering bridge from heaven to earth,
smoothly flows the glossy curve,
a view of love's worth,
infuses new life and verve.
Smoothly flows the glossy curve,
heaven and earth's eternal bond,
infuses new life and verve,
enchanting like a magical wand.
Heaven and earth's eternal bond,
fills with musical notes to hum,
enchanting like a magical wand,
far above a beautiful spectrum.
The
pantoum is derived from the pantun, a Malay verse form - specifically from the
pantun berkait, a series of interwoven quatrains.Pantoums are composed entirely
of quatrains (four-line stanzas). There is no restriction on the number of
quatrains, each quatrain follows the rhyme scheme abab within itself. The
characteristic feature of a pantoum, however, is its repetition. The first and
third lines of every stanza (except the first stanza) are identical to the
second and fourth lines of the previous stanza, respectively.
Final Stanza:
The first and third lines of the last stanza are the
second and fourth of the penultimate; the first line of the poem is the last
line of the final stanza, and the third line of the first stanza is the second
of the final

ah i love the music of a pantoum...i have only written two, it sounds of a song...and you chose a lovely subject...
I too love the lyrical tone and your beautiful bridge is lovely~
I saw one last week, usually only half, but this was the whole bridge!
Gorgeous
Lovely photo, lovely poem...
What a lovely form ~ Reads like a musical piece :-)
I like seeing the rainbow as a "bridge". Nice work with the form Vandana. :)
does have a sense of musicality. nice
Love. Trying to find at least a minute a day to enter that space and, often, to linger there.
I keep on forgetting how a pantoun goes. You did well to make it so smooth.
Such a musical and beautiful ode to the rainbow.
Beautiful from image, form, words...a great way to start my Monday!!
I love this pantoum, especially the repeated "bridge from heaven to earth" and the "view of life's worth". Nice one.
A lovely poem and full of color..I recently saw a double rainbow after a rainstorm it was so beautiful and very vibrant..fills one with hope..
I like the bridge idea, Vandana. It is hard to relate a rainbow to music and musical notes. Perhaps at the bottom with the gold. The picture is neat, the geological features inside the rainbow seem to be a little like a magic dream land.
