I asked ,"Who are you
and going where?"
She said," she is the
daughter of a shepherd and going to give him tea."
I asked'"where is
your father's goat shed?"
Her father called her with a
howl.
She quickly ran away with
the tea bowl.
But I wanted to stay with
her.
For she was as white as snow
and as sweet as a rose.

Sounds like this little shepherdess can be quite the temptress as well.

Ooh this is so lovely and cute, the picture complements the poem aptly!
Te shepherd girl is really white as snow and sweet as rose!! :)
What a plentiful little tale you've spun...I love this:
"I asked'"where is your father's goat shed?"
She said'" above the hill and below the moon lies my father's goat shed."
Interesting story.
Lovely! Fairytale like and shimmering :)
:) Thankyou poetic people....
This is a charming tale.
Love the rhythm and the lightness. Strange though from the first review and after I get to thinking, this could be taken as not so light after all if read into the wrong way...lol. Great writing.
You worked so hard to create interesting rhymes! Good for you!

These rhymes most always end up nice, Vandana.
But in reality little girls should NEVER talk
to strangers.
Thank you for siding with my waiting lady.
Most will.
