Oh! Death I Praise Thee : Kyrielle

Life  is fragile and faint,
engrossed in emotions all vain,
only one thing is perfect,
and it is called the death.

A companion to the core,
it’ll never leave you alone,
loyal at your last breath,
and it is called the death.

A salvation from this world,
towards the cosmic underworld,
where every soul collects,
and it is called the death.

Kyrielle : French poetry form, usually eight syllables per line.Rhyme scheme a. a. b. B..... c. c. b. B..(B is the refrain)

Your verse like a Kyrielle Mass I sung a number of years ago now. There is salvation from this dark orb...

Yes, death is one thing no one can escape.

Very powerful words, Vandana! Your poem reminds me of the way medieval writers viewed death.

quite an interesting form; the most inevitable process of mortality; have a good Sunday

much love...

I have some trouble reading the font, Vandana, but your poem resonates. Death's shadow does accompany our journey, much as we try to ignore it.
